☕️ The Sunday Scroll
Pour a coffee and catch up: life updates, top sellers, and my latest finds... Your Sunday Scroll starts here!
Good morning! I hope you had a nice Valentine’s Day. Paul and I went out to dinner, and it was so nice to have some time for just the two of us.
I’ve also been trying on tons of clothes lately, thinking about upcoming travel and playing around with transitional styles for spring. My room looks like Tommy Bahama and EVEREVE exploded in there. 😂
I’m anxious to clear out the “no’s” and start building my travel capsule. Whenever I’m planning a trip, I like to hang everything I’m considering on one of my rolling racks. It helps me think things through and easily add or remove pieces as I decide what I want to take.
Even though I can check a bag for this trip, I’d prefer not to. I always enjoy traveling more when I have fewer things to keep up with, and it definitely makes getting dressed easier. But of course, I don’t want to arrive and wish I had packed something I left behind… so that’s my project for the next couple of weeks. Once I get it all squared away, I’ll share it in a blog post.
Meanwhile, I’ve got this week’s Top Ten and the Weekly Edit for you below. Have a great day!
xx,
Jo-Lynne

✨ The Weekly Edit
A peek at what I’ve been reading, watching, shopping for, and loving lately:
🎧 Currently Listening:
The Everyday Style School Podcast is back after a break. Jen just dropped a new episode called Dressing Well Is A Habit, and it’s well worth a listen.
📖 Good Reads: (Let’s talk denim!)
Wearing Skinnies Again
I always appreciate Angie’s take on trends, so I enjoyed her thoughts on skinny jeans possibly resurfacing. Thoughts?
Jean Styles That Work Now After 40, 50, and 60 — And the Ones That Don’t
I’ve known Deb for years, and she always looks so polished. I thought her insights on why jeans can suddenly stop feeling great at a certain age were especially interesting.
📺 Currently Watching:
Still loving American Idol and Tehran, along with the latest seasons of Fixer to Fabulous and Hometown. I’m caught up on everything, though, so I could use a good binge recommendation. Any ideas?
🛍️ Just Added to My Closet:
Handbags are forever my weakness. This season, a few standout styles have made their way into my closet…
This beautiful bucket soft tote Maison de Sabré is so pretty for spring and a great everyday size. I love the classic shape — it feels timeless yet very on trend. I chose the Saharan Fuchsia, and the bright pink accents inside are such a fun touch.
When I need to carry my laptop, the M.Gemi Lola Tote feels incredibly luxe and polished. I ordered the Espresso.
I’m also loving the Clare V. Grande Fanny in this really fun Oat Multi. It’s the perfect size for travel, and it will go with absolutely everything this spring.
I’ve also been shopping for swimsuits for my upcoming trips and to update my summer lineup. With our backyard pool, I spend a lot of time in a swimsuit, so I’m always looking for good-quality options that feel supportive and comfortable.
This Miraclesuit just arrived, and I love it. It holds everything in, has great rear coverage, and the print is really pretty.
STYLEST kindly sent me their Bodysuit style along with the matching sarong to try, and I absolutely love them. The fabric molds and holds like nothing I’ve ever worn, and the Hot Pepper color is so striking.
I had already ordered the Square Neck Tank in navy before hearing from them, and it just arrived. I’ll try it on later today and report back!

💄 Beauty Buys:
Hat tip to whoever recommended the Haus Labs liquid foundation. It’s the closest I’ve found (and I’ve tried quite a few!) to the discontinued La Mer formula I loved for so long.
I finally decided to try the Medicube Jelly Gel Masks I’ve been hearing so much about. They just arrived yesterday — stay tuned for thoughts!
📦 Amazon Finds:
I ordered those SALUX Nylon Japanese Beauty Skin Bath Wash Cloths, and they truly are amazing. Not sure how I lived without these.
I accidentally left my neoprene 2-bottle wine carrier at a restaurant, so I grabbed a replacement. Perfect for BYOB spots — and we have lots of those around here.
Jenni recommend this AOA Studio Collection makeup Sponge Set for foundation application. I was having issues with my base lately, and this really helps everything go on more smoothly.
These ruffle socks are so cute with sneakers. I also picked up a simpler set for when I want a cleaner look.
🏡 For the Home:
It’s finally time to take down my winter mantel garland, and the mantel is going to look so bare. I’ve been browsing for a spring update and I’m considering this lavender mix, this olive version, or maybe this eucalyptus garland with lavender and yellow blooms.
👀 Things I’m Eyeing:
These FRAME jeans — I love the light wash, and the carpenter details feel very on trend for spring. I’m hoping they’re lightweight with a bit of stretch for a great spring/summer denim option.
These FRANKIE4 espadrille sandals — This brand is known for exceptional comfort, and I’m looking for something that feels dressy but still walkable for St. Lucia and other upcoming spring/summer travel.
This zip-front denim jacket is a great little update to the traditional trucker style.
I’ve also ordered a bunch of shorts and tops from the EVEREVE sale. I tried on the ones I saved from last year, and apparently they all “shrunk.” 😜 So I’m trying to restock my warm-weather essentials without breaking the bank. I added them to my EVEREVE Sale Picks on my ShopMy Storefront.
