☕️ The Sunday Scroll Vol. 4
What’s trending on the blog this week, my Sunday Edit, and a few favorite finds you might’ve missed.
Good morning! It’s been a busy week with a quick trip to Nashville to bring my daughter home from college for the summer and lots of England travel prep. I’m trying to work ahead on blog posts so I’ll have content ready to go while I’m away.
The weekend’s been pretty quiet. After our long drive on Friday, all I wanted to do was sit on the deck all evening and enjoy the pretty spring weather—and that’s exactly what I did. I went to Pilates yesterday morning and then treated myself to an afternoon nap. There’s so much I should be doing, but I was feeling drained, so I gave in and had a lazy day. After that, I rallied, hopped in the shower, and got myself put together to meet a friend for dinner, and I’m so glad I did. It was just what I needed!
I’m heading out to church here in a bit, and this afternoon I hope to spend some time organizing and prepping for the week ahead. My to-do list is massive!
In the meantime, scroll down for this week’s top sellers, the Sunday Edit, and a few trending blog posts worth revisiting.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
xx,
Jo-Lynne
🔟 Top Ten of the Week
These were your most-loved items this week:
PAIGE Jill Espadrille Platform Wedge Sandal (size 8) // My newest shoe purchase, these platform wedge sandals are perfect with full-length jeans that need a bit of height. The intertwined leather straps are so pretty (and soft!), and the platform makes the 2 1/4" heel feel totally walkable. No rubbing, no blisters—just a sleek, comfortable fit, and they run true to size.
RAILS Arlene Stripe Linen Blend Ruffle Shoulder Top (S) // This breezy linen blend top has the prettiest ruffle detail at the shoulder and a flattering v-neckline. Easy to dress up or down this spring and summer.
Athleta Brooklyn Heights High Rise Cargo Pant (6) // These relaxed cargo pants are lightweight, breathable, and surprisingly flattering—perfect for travel. I wore the olive pair almost every day on my Florida trip and came home and ordered them in black too! They run true to size, or size down if in between. Bonus, they’re currently 25% off!
Vince Camuto Surplice Neck Tie Belt Midi Dress // This lightweight, breezy midi dress has a drapey surplice neckline and a beautiful blue floral print. A great spring/summer piece at an even better price!
Rocky Two Pocket Utility Jacket (M) // A cropped utility jacket made of a soft, stretchy rayon blend with utility pockets and subtle seaming on the sleeves—perfect for transition season. Plus, it's on sale right now! (For more color options, see also the EVEREVE Camp Jacket—pretty much the same jacket in a linen blend.)
MANGO Contrast Canvas & Faux Leather Crossbody Bag // This structured crossbody combines smooth faux leather with finely woven canvas for a cool mix of textures. The adjustable strap gives you options, whether you wear it on the shoulder or crossbody. It sold out at Nordstrom, but you can find it on the MANGO website.
Isle of Paradise Supersize Self Tanning Butter // A rich, hydrating self-tanning butter that works as both a gradual tanner and a moisturizer is currently on sale at QVC for just $33.98 (a $70 value!).
Gap Factory Relaxed Fleece Zip Hoodie (S) // With its relaxed fit, a shorter length, and classic details like raglan sleeves and kangaroo pockets, this fleece hoodie is perfect for layering over tees and tanks this spring and summer—and you can’t beat the price!
MOTHER The Insider Step Frayed Hem Crop Jeans in Out Of The Blue (29) // My favorite MOTHER Insider Step Frayed Hem Crop Jeans have been reimagined for the 2025 season in a bright blue wash with the perfect fade—and they’re made from that iconic stretch denim that’s comfortable, flattering, and holds its shape. They’re exactly what my spring/summer closet needed: casual, versatile, and perfect with sneakers or sandals.
MANGO Canvas & Faux Leather Bucket Bag // Love the mix of woven canvas and faux leather on this structured bucket bag. The divided interior and removable pouches make it easy to stay organized, and the adjustable strap lets you wear it your way.

✨ The Sunday Edit
A few things I’ve been loving lately:
🎧 Currently Listening: 90s Pop Rock Alternative on Spotify
📖 Currently Reading: What’s the Deal with Quince?
This article was recommended by someone I follow on Substack, and I found it really interesting—both as a shopper and as an “influencer.” I’m not a fan of buying straight-up dupes, but Quince has always seemed a step above the rest. It’s also one of the easiest places to find “similar for less” options to link for a lot of my favorite designer pieces. I’m not sure this changes how I shop (or how I link—since I’m all about offering options, not judgment!), but it was a fascinating peek into the industry nonetheless.

🛍️ Just Added to My Closet:
– These platform sandals to wear with full-length jeans
– This Wacoal sport bra is pretty much the only one I wear anymore, so I donated all my others and picked up a second color. (I have it in Black/Lilac Gray and just ordered Sand.) I love it because it’s supportive, flattering, and super comfortable—and best of all, no uniboob!
👀 Things I’m Eyeing:
– I’m thinking of replacing my very worn-looking white everyday dishes as a Mother’s Day gift to myself. Anyone have a set they love?
– I just ordered this tarte eyeshadow palette to try.
– I’m still tweaking my England travel capsule, so I ordered this Lightweight Cashmere V-Neck Sweater for another layering option on chilly days, along with this Cashmere Boyfriend Cardigan as a possible alternative to my Pranayama Wrap.
– I also ordered AWAY’s The Everywhere Zip Backpack and Large Featherlight Backpack to compare to The Everywhere Bag I was planning to use as my personal item. They seem more compact, and I’ve heard they hold just as much!

I love this new Sunday format!
I also recently read the “What’s the deal with Quince?”article and found it and the comments that followed both equally interesting. Their products seem to be all over Instagram now and they always look so cute from afar. I hadn’t purchased any of their products until I got a Quince gift card at Christmas time. Surprisingly, I had to try so hard to spend it …. everything I tried that an influencer was “obsessed with” didn’t work for me. I returned 4 items before I finally found something that was really great. I just got a navy linen blazer from them and I love it; the color, fit, feel, and of course the price. Will I shop there again? I don’t know. Probably not, but who knows…my blazer purchase was a good one. I’m not one to chase down a dupe of something so I wouldn’t shop Quince just to get a designer look alike handbag or a JK look-alike fisherman sweater. But I do think it’s good for people to have options in different price ranges.
